October Makeup Favorites

My October Makeup favorites!!! I will be doing monthly posts on my makeup loves and there will be a separate post on my fashion and random favorites. I love knowing what people are enjoying and also getting ideas on what new items to try out. Hope you enjoy!

1. Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream (Dark)- I was extremely hesitant to try this out. A) It isn't cheap at 40 bucks for 1fl oz and B) I was hearing mixed reviews. But I can honestly say I love it! More details will be coming soon because I think this product deserves its on review.

2. Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer (Medium)- This product has had tons of hype in the beauty world. To me its just a regular concealer that does what its suppose to do. I enjoy using it because it does not settle into fine lines and the formula is creamy enough that it leaves the skin under my eyes dry, but dry enough that it does not leave an oily excess. I think the color options are VERY limited and even medium on my skin can easily be too light if I use too much. I find that when it comes to drugstore brands concealers and foundations always fall short in the color selection department (I'm looking at you Neutrogena Healthy Skin Foundation!).

3.Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder-I bought this in hopes of finding a replacement for my holy grail Benefit Powderflage which for some crazy reason is being discontinued (can you tell I'm bitter about it?). The Benefit powder is perfect for setting my under-eye concealer. It has a slight pink tint to it and the powder is finely milled to prevent from settling into fine lines. I am literally rationing the last that I have. The Laura Mercier powder is not slightly different but gets the job done and can be comparable. It helps brighten underneath the eyes and it also does not settle into lines, but the powder is a little heaver and thicker and it is also white so i have to use sparingly. Overall I like it and until Benefit regains their senses and puts powderflage back on the market this is the next best thing.

4. Tarte MultiplEYE Lash Enhancing Primer & Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes! Mascara-This mascara combination is AWESOME! This will also be dedicated to a post of its on!

5. Naked Palette- Definitely a rediscovered love! Actually this product was more of an "I did not know you were this amazing until I actually started using you" revelation. I completely get the Hype now. I pretty much only used this palette last month. I used it for day looks, night looks, quick looks, no makeup looks...You name it I pretty much did it with just this palette. Favorite colors you ask? Ummm if I had to choose it would be Buck, Toasted, Half Baked, and Smog.

6. Wet N Wild Blushes (Heather Silk, Berry Shimmer, Mellow Wine)- For only being about 3 bucks at the drugstore these blushes are great. They are VERY VERY pigmented. I love them because a little goes a long way and they are pigmented without being to powdery or chalky. Try them out!

(LtoR: Heather Silk, Berry Shimmer- has an awesome gold shimmer throughout, Mellow Wine)

7) Real Techniques Stippling Brush- All the real techniques brushes are amazing quality! The stippling brush is perfect for applying very pigment blushes. I find that it picks up a lot less of the product and distributes it beautifully on to your cheeks.

So that is it for my October favorites, what have you been loving?
