Review~Loreal Telescopic Shocking Extensions Mascara

I personally love mascara! It's one of those makeup products that can take you from a zombie to human in a matter of seconds. Now, finding the right mascara is when the drama happens. Mascara is similar to skincare you have to know what you need and want before you take a trip to your local beauty store. I have decent lashes not too short and not overly long and a pretty decent thickness with a slight curl. So when shopping for mascaras I am looking for a one stop shop. I need a mascara that can lengthen and volumize.

Loreal Telescopic Shocking Extensions was about $7.99 at my Harmons (which is located in Bed Bath and Beyond...random I know). I have used the Carbon Black version of the telescopic line before and thought it was OK but not amazing. Unfortunately this mascara did not live up to the hype. The brush is a little different than the other telescopic mascaras. It has more of an hour glass shape but still has the short plastic bristles.

For me the bristles are too short to actually grab onto my lashes and extend them. I felt this actually made my lashes look shorter than they would normally look if I wore say Benefits They're Real. The formula when first opened is very thin. I actually preferred this mascara after a few uses when it began to dry up and the formula was thicker. Its a nice dark black and it allows for more than a few coats before you start to clump.

(After Mascara/ Did not curl lashes)

As you can see in the after pictures the volume on this mascara is NICE! Which is awkward because this is marketed as a lengthening mascara. Not a bad mascara but definitely not one of my favorites.

Will I repurchase? No but I think you should definitely try it, every bodies lashes are different and its not a bad mascara it just didn't work for me.
