Beauty Favorites~April

O hi May! I almost forgot it was May with the 50 degree weather and the monsoons we've been having lately in the DMV. Ok so maybe not monsoons but it has been chilly and raining nonstop for the last couple of days. With April officially behind us lets talk about my favorites!

~ Josie Maran Argan Creamy Oil Cleansing Treatment~ I have already done a full review on this product here, so I will try to not dive to deep in to it but I will say, this is amazing and this along with a few other skincare products has my skin looking the best its ever had in a while.

~Josie Maran Argan Oil and Caudalie Beauty Elixir~ These were both in my March Favorites. I debated about putting them in my April Favorites but it just wouldn't be accurate if I hadn't. My skincare will forever have these products in it.

~MAC Mineralized Skinfinish Natural in Dark~ A classic. Time and time again I go back to this product (mainly in the warmer months). It just gives a nice natural finish to the skin without looking powdery and clinging to dry patches. It has a beautiful glow that is natural and elegant , but still gives a tad bit of coverage. I have been pairing this in combination with my NARS Stick Concealer in Amande. Once again a beautiful concealer with the perfect amount of lightness and coverage, and not to mention this is the perfect skin color match for me.

~ Lorac Unzipped Palette~ At one point I literally had to tell myself to show my other eye shadows some love. Its a wonderful palette, better than both the Naked and Naked2 in my opinion ( I know I hurt some people there). The warmer toned shadows are lovely, with a good mix of matte and shimmer you cant go wrong. If I wasn't using the Lorac Palette, that means I was in a rush but still wanted to look presentable. That's were cream shadows step in. MAC Groundwork Paintpot, another classic that I always go back to, its just the perfect base for every shadow and it helps to conceal any redness on the lids if I just want something quick. Maybelline Color Tattoos in Bad to the Bronze and Mahogany Shimmer, I used these as lid shadows and swept MAC Saddle in the crease with my other fave Inglot 6ss brush, the perfect quick "I really don't have time to blend" crease application.

~Tarte MultiplEYE Liquid Liner~ I put down my Loreal Carbon Black eyeliner (which never happens) and rediscovered an old fave. The precision on this is amazing and gives the most perfect cat eye. Not to mention its super black and doesn't budge.

~MAC Espresso paired with MAC 266 ~ I have been enjoying this combo for my eyebrows, natural, quick, and easy.

~Loreal Power Volume 24h in Black Smoke~ I love big, over the top, black lashes...thank you Loreal for giving that to me.

~MAC Honeyflower Lipstick~ Let me just set the record straight, I am not a fan of lipstick at all. So for this to make it into my favorites is big! This lipstick had a very nice consistency which is why I think I enjoyed it so much. It was lightweight on the lips but still packed a punch in the color department. I will definitely check out more of MAC's Lustre range.

~OPI The Spy Who Loved Me~ A beautiful red orange with orange and gold glitter running through it.
More on this polish on a later post.

What were you loving last month?
