Spring Trend: Cream Blushes

I admit, I am a lover of blush and recently have been diving into the realm of cream blushes. I have always loved the idea of cream blushes but for some reason never really fell in love with them. As some of you may know from my "The Glow Factor" post, I have really been enjoying the look of a healthy glow. I have found a few cream blushes that are amazing in helping me achieve that look. I have also found an easier way to apply and blend them in so you look flawless.

~Stila Convertible Cheek and Lip Color in Petunia~ a light pink that leans a little warmer on my skin than in the pot. Love this for a quick wash of color. It's the kind of color that you wear when you have know idea which blush color to choose.

~ NYX Cream Blush in Pink and Orange~ Don't underestimate these blushes they are PIGMENTED, a little goes along way. Super easy to blend into the skin leaving a serious glow to your cheekbones. They have great staying power and are budget friendly. You cant go wrong with these, I am actually thinking about picking up the color Glow to add to my collection.

~ Korres Check Butter in Crimson Rose~ Korres is no longer just known for their cult favorite lip butter. These cheek butters are wonderful (and rarely talked about). They have a drier consistency than the NYX and Stila blushes but still are very easy to blend. Very pigmented as well which I love and gives a more subtle glow to the skin. Staying power for me was great.

I used to apply them with just fingers or a stippling brush and I found that it always ended up looking patchy, sometimes to harsh, and sometimes I blended too much and the color would disappear. I recently started applying the product to my checks with my fingers and then blending out with the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. Results = The best cream blush application in life! So if you have this brush lying around collecting dust like I did, try using it with a cream product and see if you hear angels sing. I'm sure you will.
