Current Drugstore Favorites

7/24/13

My skin care and makeup favorites can change from week to week and sometimes day to day. Currently these are the products that I have been dedicated to for the past couple of weeks.
~ Olay Quench Ultra Moisture~ I first discovered this lotion my freshman year of college and for some reason haven't thought to pick it up again until recently. The smell takes me back to summer nights, college friends, and reading on the lawn. The lotion itself is actually great for the warmer months. Light weight but still very hydrating and absorbs quickly into the skin.

~ Boots Botanics Face Oil ~ I love my Josie Maran Argan Oil but we recently have been hit with a heat wave so I reserve that much heavier oil for night time use only. The Boots Botanics Face Oil is lovely, very light and doesn't sit on the first layer of skin, it quickly absorbs living you with a nice glow. It also has Rosehip Oil which is full of antioxidants and essential fatty acids that hep with dark spots and hydration, and its 100% organic.

~ Boots Botanics Gentle Cleansing Cream All Bright ~ A great brightening cleanser on mornings when  you wake up looking a little dull, this gives instant results and is very hydrating in the process. For more information I also mentioned it here.

~ Loreal Telescopic Shocking Extensions Mascara~ A rediscovered product that I actually didn't like when I first purchased it. Now that it has dried up a bit it has been my go to mascara. It gives me long, defined and thick lashes with out the flaking.

~ Almay Lip Balm~ I should probably stop talking about these. I did a full review here. In a nutshell they're the perfect lip gloss/ lip balm duo that leaves the lips hydrated with a sheer dose of color.

~ La Roche Posay ~ Another product that I have mentioned way too much on this blog. Check out this post and this post to read my thoughts. If there is one thing you buy from this list...I'd suggest this and the Botanics Face Oil...ok two things.

What are your current favorites? Drugstore ? High- End? Let me know in the comments.
