Intro to La Roche-Posay

7/20/13

Over the last couple of months my interest and more recently love for the skin care brand La Roche-Posay has increasingly grown. A no nonsense, frills, and gimmicks French company, La Roche-Posay is a skin care brand I would gladly recommend to anyone. Products that are geared toward acne/blemish prone skin, dehydration, and aging, there's a little bit for everyone. Here's my La Roche-Posay collection so far but I already have my eye on a few other products that have been tempting me.

~Thermal Spring Water ~ I use this right before my cleanser in the morning and evenings. Instead of doing the splash of water on face, I use this. It's naturally rich in Selenium which helps protect cells from damage. Selenium can help protect the skin against sun damage and skin cancer and may reverse some of the discoloration and wrinkles associated with aging. My skin is very sensitive and can become red and irritated very quickly, I find that using this helps reduce redness and soothes my skin. Not to mention this thing lasts FOREVER.

~Physiological Micellar Soultion ~ Micellar Solutions or Waters are all over the market these days. I use this for when I want to redo my makeup in the middle of the day and I don't have time to go through my whole skin care regimen which I just completed earlier that morning. This is another product from their sensitive skin range and I love it. Not irritating at all and removes all of my makeup, leaving my skin soothed and prepped.

~ Hydraphase Intense Light~ If you have been reading my blog for awhile you know that I LOVE this.  A hydrating serum with hyaluronic acid fragments that plump and cool the skin. My skin always feels perfectly comfortable after using this.

Would love to know if you have tried anything from this brand, and if so, what are your favorites?
