Last Week's Loved

7/15/13

I'm back with a few items that I haven't been able to put down. When it comes to skin care I am sucker for anything that has "glowing" or "brightening" on the packaging! Most of the products that have that description are going to give you an all over youthful complexion and who doesn't what that. So with that in mind here are a few of the new products I have been enjoying.

~ La Roche Posay Hydraphase Intense Light~ I mentioned this product in my Hello Hydration post and I have not put it down since. It is basically a moisturizing serum that you put on before your moisturizer.  It has hyaluronic acid fragments that help infuse the skin with water preventing dehydration. Every time I put this on I swear I fall more in love with it, it instantly plumps, hydrates, and puts my skin in a comfortable state.

~ Boots Botanics Gentle Cleansing Cream All Bright ~ Lets just be real I don't need anymore cleansers (hmmm how about a cleanser overview post?) but as you all know by now Target is a trap. As I was perusing the Boots aisle I noticed this beauty. Taking a peek at the ingredients I noticed it had an active plant extract, Hibiscus, which contains natural AHA's (alpha hydroxy acid) which mildly exfoliate the skin. It's a cream so it leaves my skin smooth, hydrated, and yes... noticeably brighter. Side note, it was $7.49. Yea, run to Target.

~ Origins Ginzing Moisturizer and Eye Cream ~ This moisturizer is a nice lightweight summer alternative a mix between a gel and cream. The eye cream is a beautiful product, lightweight but hydrating and it has a beautiful subtle glow that is perfect for darkness underneath the eyes. When I have a little extra time in the mornings I pop the eye cream in the freezer for a few minutes and use it to de-puff my eyes.

~ Hourglass Brow Sculpting Pencil in Dark Brunette~ A recent purchase that I have been testing out. I have pretty thick brows so the wideness of the pencil is very convenient because I can quickly fill in  my brows. It gives me a more natural looking brow than my all time favorite Revlon Brow Enhancer.

~ Korres Cheek Butter in Chara Crimson~ I could not stop using this...I really did try but I just love the color and the finish of this. It has a thicker consistency than your average cream blush but it blends out beautifully with my Real Techniques Buffing brush. I loved it so much I also picked up the coral/rosy pink color in Eros Coral.

What have you tried out recently that you can't put down?
