My Favorite Brushes

7/19/13

As a self proclaimed makeup addict, I tend to have more makeup brushes than I actually need. I also tend to go through phases where I just use my hands or only certain brushes get my love. My brush love rotates through out my collection but here are the brushes that I am loving...at the moment.

~ Real Techniques Expert Face Brush~ This brush can be used for everything, from blending in liquid foundation to applying a contour color. I like to use it solely for blending out my cream brushes. It does the job seamlessly and has made me feel more comfortable using cream blushes because I know they wont streak or be patchy.

~Real Techniques Setting Brush~ I love this for setting my under eye area with powder and its also a good size to apply highlighter on the tops of cheekbones or where ever needed.

~ Real Techniques Contour Brush~ Never used this until recently when I started using it to blend in my under eye concealer. It was like Angels started singing when I used it for the first time. Its the perfect size and blends out my concealer like no other!

~MAC 217~ Everyone needs this in their collection, nothing compares. Great for applying eyeshadow, blending out eyeshadow, applying cream bases, blending out cream bases, and the list goes on.

~MAC 138~ I use this for all over face powder and when I contour my face. It's sooo soft...like really soft.

~Loew Cornell Natural Hair Mop Brush ~ You can pick this up at Michaels in the paint brush section. The perfect little brush for my brow bone highlight and inner corner highlight.

~Real Techniques Multi Task Brush ~ I use this for blush and love it! My MAC 129 used to be my favorite blush brush but now that I can't tolerate it incessant need to shed everywhere I have switched over to this brush. No shedding, blends blushes beautifully, and very easy to clean. Perfect.

~Real Techniques Duo Fiber Contour Brush~ A new addition. If you have a liquid or cream highlighter...use this. Blends everything in seamlessly.

Do you have an favorite brushes?
