All About The Brows

8/28/13

Sometimes taming the beasts that are my brows can be a hassle. They are usually really easy to deal with a day or two right after a threading session but after that we begin to have issues. Just like the hair on my head my eyebrows are curly and wild. I have pretty thick eyebrows but I still like to fill in any areas that may be sparse. Here are the products that help me tame my brows.

Revlon Colorstay Brow Enhancer in Blackened Brown ~ I have used this product for years and all though I have found a recent favorite this will always be in my makeup stash. A wax pencil that not only helps fill in your eyebrows but the waxy consistency helps keep my curly hairs in place all day. It doesn't smear or disappear as the day goes on and the actual product lasts forever.

Blinc Brow Mousse in Dark Brunette ~ I'm not a fan of brow gel. It leaves my hair crispy and similar to hair gel my brow hairs seem to get curlier when I use a gel. Blinc introduced a brow mousse and I completely fell in love. It is literally a mouse texture that is VERY pigmented. It helps groom, fill in, and keep your brows in place in one step. I always use this when I'm in a hurray or just on a low maintenance days.

Hourglass Brow Sculpting Pencil in Dark Brunette ~ Once of my priciest brow purchases to date. A thick slanted mechanical brow pencil with an especially nice spoolie on the end. I like to use this when my hairs have grown out a bit. Thanks to the rather large pencil I can quickly fill in my brows and not think twice. Did I mention the spoolie bit is amazing? Yep slightly obsessed.

Annastasia Brow Wiz  in Ebony~ Ok so I literally would avoid picking up this product on purpose. This is one of the many overly hyped products in the Beauty Community and I was determined not to fall for it. (Sigh) So yea I picked up. Is it worth the hype? Im sorry to report that...yes you need this in your life. The extremely small pencil allows for the most natural, easy, quick brow ever. You can get the exact shape you want and fill in just where you need it. My eyebrows come to a pretty sharp point on the tail and sometimes filling that in could be a little tricky. This product makes everything easier.

What do you use on your brows?
