July Beauty Favorites

8/5/13

It's August! This month is always bittersweet for me, its the realization that summer (which is always way too quick) is nearing an end and Fall is about to begin. August is all about last minute cookouts and quick trips to the beach to chase those last bits of summer. I'm excited for the new month and what it has to offer but lets look back on what I was loving for the month of July.
~ Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation in Cappuccino 290 ~ A light weight barely there base that was perfect for those summer nights when I wanted a little extra glow. Probably the only foundation that I have tried and actually love ( I'm a tinted moisturizer /bb cream kinda girl) and its drugstore. Before my summer tan, I was the shade caramel and I was scared this color would be too dark but because it is so sheer it blends out and suits my skin tone. I of course can always mix the two shades together once my tan starts to fade.

~ Maybelline BB Cream in Deep Sheer Tint ~ Another drugstore base that I couldn't put down. This is extremely light weight and I love the watery consistency, very cooling on those summer days. This quick application will provide you with a SPF and a tad bit of coverage.

~ Juice Beauty Green Apple Blemish Clearing Peel ~ I picked this up towards the middle of July at Ulta. My right cheek was going through a weird "dry patch/ break out" situation. I decided to pick this up because a) peels always help me with my dry patches by eating away at the top layer of skin and b) this product was made specifically for blemishes so I was hoping it would clear those up as well. I used this consistently for about two weeks and my issues were completely cleared. Really love this product and couldn't recommend it enough. Let me know in the comments below if you would like a more in depth review!

~Almay Liquid Lip Balm ~ I know I have talked about these too much on my blog already. I cant stop using them. The colors are great and they are fantastic at hydrating the lips. Check out my full review here.

~ Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara ~ The more I use this, the more I fall in love. Helps with lengthening and volumizing lashes while not smudging and smearing. Talked about this product more here.

~ Loreal Telescopic Shocking Extensions Mascara in Blackest Black~ A product that I really did not like the first few times of use. Oh how that has changed. Similar to the Clinique mascara but this one is a little more volumizing and cheaper.

~ Blinc Eyebrow Mousse in Dark Brunette ~ The perfect product if you want to fill in your brows quickly but just don't want to be bothered with a pencil. A matte gel/mousse that is thick enough to fill in your brows while also holding them in place. Wonderful product!

That's it for my July Favorites! What have you been enjoying?

Tanesha
