The Look ~ Summer Smokey Eye

Before the summer officially ends and the wine colored lips make a come back I wanted to post one of my favorite looks to do in the summer. Bronze smokey eye looks can be worn all year round but they look especially great with a summer glow. Here is how I achieved this look.

On this particular day I needed my makeup to last literally the whole day and well into the night so I opted for the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer. It has an SPF of 15 which is great in helping protect my skin during the day and your makeup will not budge with this primer. I wanted my base to look dewy but it is still very humid in my area so the Origins Smarty Plants CC cream was exactly what I needed.

After priming the lids I started with Pixi Lid Last Shadow Pen in Bronze Brilliance as my base followed by MAC's Bronze eyeshadow all over the lid. I used MAC's Saddle (one of my favorite crease colors ) to blend out the bronze shadow and create definition in the crease. I deepened up my outer corner and crease with Loreal's 24hr Infallible eyeshadow in 800 Bottomless Java. Used MAC's Teddy eye kohl smudged out on upper and lower lash line. Add tons of mascara and your done with the eyes.

I wanted my cheeks to be subtle but still have color so I opted for my new favorite Sonia Kashuk Super Sheer Liquid Tint in Peony. To top off the look I added MAC's Cremesheen in Pillow Talk a beautiful creamy nude and Inglot's Sleek Platinum in 86.

Hope you guys are enjoying your day!
