The Pamper & Prep ~ Hair Masks

9/22/13

Sundays are perfect for giving your hair some extra love and attention. I tend to ignore my hair throughout the week giving it the very bare minimum, so hair masks are perfect for whipping my hair back into shape before the start of the week. Here are a few of my recent favorites.

Everyone needs a good protein treatment to use on their locks. I prefer my protein treatments in mask form because they tend to be a tad bit more moisturizing on my strands. My favorite at the moment is ORS Hair Mayonnaise, a classic. Ingredients include egg protein and wheat germ. Both help to strengthen your hair by reducing breakage and shedding. I tend to use this when my hair is feeling weak and doing an excessive amount of shedding. This product, after only one use, will make a huge difference to your hair. Love it.

This mask is really really cool. Its a light blue almost jello/creme hybrid that immediately hydrates your hair. Imagine Origins Make a Difference Rejuvenating Treatment but for your hair. Amazing. It leaves my hair extremely soft (sometimes too soft) so I only use this when my hair is feeling (and looking) like the Sahara. It also has Hyaluronic Acid in it...sold.

Last but not least the Loreal Damage-Erasing Balm is a mixture of both of the masks I previously talked about. Its hydrating but it also helps strengthen the hair. I tend to use this when my hair just needs everything! The consistency is very thick but it does not feel like a balm just a thick cream.

What are your favorite hair masks?
