All Natural

10/10/13

I recently went took a trip to Whole Foods and decided to look at their beauty and skincare aisles. I found a ton of new and awesome products, which inspired me to do a post of my products that are 100% organic/natural and just all around great for you.

~ TOM's Deodorant ~ I recently decided that I wanted a healthier deodorant offering to the standard deodorants which have aluminum in it. Tom's is the first healthy choice I tried and I have to say its not that bad, I don't know how it would hold up in the summer but for now it does the trick.

~ John Masters Organics Linden Blossom Face Creme Cleanser ~ I mentioned this in my September Favorites and it truly has lead the way in my skincare regimen. It's a creamy cleanser that does what it is suppose to do, cleanse the skin while also hydrating and plumping. I love it.

~ John Master Organics Firming Eye Gel ~ A great alternative to my heavier eye creams. This has extracts of rice and rye which have healing and firming properties to reduce puffiness and wrinkles. Its  a gel like consistency and it can be quite cooling on the skin. Usually gel eye creams are great for puffiness but can be lacking in the hydration department. This product handles dryness with ease by keeping my under eye area hydrated.

~ Acure Facial Cleansing Creme with Argan oil and Spearmint ~ I loved the minty-ness of Origins Zero Oil cleanser but I found it to be a bit too drying. This seemed like the perfect option because it is geared toward Normal to Dry skin types and it has Argan oil in it which is very moisturizing and I can still get my minty feeling thanks to the spearmint. I was having a pretty bad skin week when I tried this and lets just say this product did not help matters. I have yet to try it again so I will report back to you with further details.

~ Evan Healy Rosehip Treatment Serum ~ Rosehip is known to be a great treatment for damaged skin. I like to use this when my skin is inflamed and I am going through a breakout phase. I use the tiniest drop and press it into my skin. The next morning my skin looks hydrated, plump, and the redness is significantly diminished.

~ Josie Maran Argan Oil ~ 100% pure argan oil and this works wonders for any beauty issue. Dry hair, chapped lips, acne, eczema this product will take care of it.

~ Tea Tree Oil ~ I use pure tea tree oil as a spot treatment. It calms down the spot, reduces redness, and eventually clears it up...and its all done naturally.

~ Really Raw Honey ~ Raw Honey works to help hydrate the skin and its an antiseptic, perfect for days when my skin is going haywire. I smooth this on my face for about 15 mins or longer and I always notice a huge difference in my skin once I wash it off.

~ Organic Virgin Coconut Oil ~ I used to use this product for my hair and I never cared for it. It has a tendency to sit on the top layer of my hair and never absorb. I recently started using this for my skin, removing makeup and as a mask. LOVE IT. I'm sure you will be hearing more in a October Favorites because this stuff is heaven in a jar. It does a great job of removing my makeup quickly and easily, while leaving my skin looking like an Angel kissed it. As a mask it gives you the most intense hydration ever and leaves your skin glowing and bright.

How do you feel about natural products and what do you use?
