FOTD ~ Holiday Look 2

12/18/13

I recently picked up the Urban Decay Naked3 Palette and trust me I was beyond excited for this new release. I wanted to do another Holiday look but with a bit of a twist. I am loving purples and pinks at the moment and wanted to incorporate that in a smokey eye.

Started everything off with Clarins Instant Smoothing Perfecting Touch Primer and then I went in with my all time favorite Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in Walnut, blended in with my fingertips. Concealer is pretty much been the same for the last couple of weeks Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer in Deep with a bit of Marc Jacobs Remedy Concealer in 6 After Hours. Nothing new for the eyebrows Anastasia Brow Wiz in Ebony with the Clear Brow Gel to set.

Urban Decay Primer Potion was chosen to prime the eyes and I opted for Laura Mercier's Caviar Eye Stick in Amethyst, this a beautiful color and I love how long lasting it is. As my crease and transition color I opened up my Naked3 palette and reached for Nooner, a nice muted matte taupey brown. For my lid color I packed Buzz on the lid making sure to stay below the crease. I blended Loreal Infallible eyeshadow in Smoldering Plum in the outer corner and worked it into the crease. Strange was used to highlight under the brow bone. I wanted my look to be a bit more sparkly so with a wet brush I put a layer of Trick all over the lid. This color is amazing , it instantly enhances any look. For liner I used Bobbi Brown's Gel eyeliner in Violet Ink on the outer and lower lash lines. Finished my eye look off with Tarte's Mascara Primer and Lights, Camera, Flashes Mascara.

Korres Cheek Butter in Chara Crimson was my blush choice. Laura Mercier Spellbound Highlighter is a beautiful rose gold that does a nice job of illuminating the face. For lips I opted for Laura Mercier's Rouge Nouveau in Cafe and I layered Revlon Colorburst gloss in Orchid. If I had to give this look a name it would definitely be Sugar Plum Fairy.

Tanesha
