The Skincare ~ Skin Soothers

Currently my skin is not happy with me, or this weather, and it is completely acting out. Acne and bumps are no longer an issue but my skin is IRRITATED,constantly red, inflamed, and flaky especially around the nose and mouth area. Forget sensitive combination skin, right now its just straight up Angry. It needs a lot of attention and it needs products that are going to calm and soothe. Here are a few items I am adding to my regimen.
~ La Roche Posay Toleriane Line ~ This is perfect for what my skin is going through right now. The Toleriane line is geared toward very sensitive, irritated, and dry skin all of which I currently have. Its made to gently nourish and calm. Currently I am using the Dermo-Cleanser which has a nice thick creamy consistency. It gently cleanses the skin without leaving residue. I also love the moisturizers from this line. They instantly hydrate and soothe the skin without clogging pores or causing breakouts.

~ Kiehls Cucumber Herbal Achohol Free Toner ~ currently my morning toner this is great at balancing out the skin and being a gentle astringent, it just leaves my skin feeling soothed and balanced.

~ Evan Healy Rosehip Treatment Facial Serum  ~ This product is used morning and night and it is wonderful at healing the areas of my face that are irritated. Constant use of this has proven to reduce my irritation, but if I skip a day or two my skin acts crazy!

~ La Roche Posay Hydraphase Serum ~ A long time favorite of mine I have recently put this back into my regimen. Used after my facial oil but before my moisturizer this really helps to seal everything in. It immediately hydrates, plumps the skin, and helps to retain moisture.

~ Aveda Cooling Masque ~ Perfection in a tube, this has been a lifesaver. The constant cold to heat and  central heating during the winter months has my face feeling like its burning. This has a cooling effect that just soothes the skin, while also nourishing it. My skin never feels tight or dry when I remove this mask. It removes excess sebum but doesn't unnecessarily dry out the rest of my face.

How has your skin been reacting to the weather change?
