The Skincare ~ Surviving Winter

Winter has officially arrived and my skin is not happy about it. The constant transition from central heating to freezing, then back to central heating is becoming an issue. Here are a few "quick fixes" to make sure my skin is staying moisturized throughout the day.
~ Juice Beauty Hydrating Mist ~ I use this morning and night after my exfoliating toner. This gives a quick boost of hydration that also soothes my skin. If I am feeling a little dry throughout the day a quick spritz of this instantly puts moisture back into my skin.

~ Essie Apricot Cuticle Oil ~ I love this as a quick fix for my obnoxiously dry cuticles. The brush makes for easy application and the oil absorbs quickly and does a great job of rehydrating my cuticles and nails.

~ Josie Maran Argan Oil ~ An all rounder you can use this for absolutely everything but it does wonders for your skin, especially around this time of year. I love using this as a night treatment. It helps to plump, heal, and moisturize the skin. It gives an amazing glow as well.

~ Dior Creme De Rose Lip Balm ~ I spoke about this a little bit here, but its basically a very thick lip balm that heals and leaves your lips hydrated and prepped.

~ Caudalie Vinosource S.O.S Thirst Quenching Serum ~ It literally feels like your skin is drinking water. I use this every morning before my moisturizer and this helps to keep my skin hydrated all day.

Do you have any skincare survival tips for the winter?

  1. I love the juice beauty mist. I have to use it over my makeup or it gets dry and flaky. Love the blog!
