The Beauty Bag ~ January

1/3/14

The holidays are officially over and the new year is here. My sparkle shadows are going back into storage and my semi-matte foundations are taking a break. With all the parties, sips of Merlot, and cold weather that has happened in the last month, my skin is in serious need of some artificial glow. Here is what I am tossing into my makeup bag to get me through this month.
~ Hourglass N'28 Primer Serum ~ I love the Mineral Veil Primer that Hourglass offers but recently my skin has been extremely dehydrated and in need of some real TLC. This primer is an oil blend serum that helps to hydrate your skin while also prepping it for makeup. Dry flaky areas begone this is a miracle worker. For those of you who have oilier skin types run far far away.

~ Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector  in Opal ~ Adds just the right amount of luminosity to your skin to help bring back that glow. Used on its on or mixed with your foundation this is a great product for those of us who are suffering from lack luster skin.

~ Jouer Luminizing Moisture Tint in Deep Bronze ~ I plan on going base free for most of the month, just my Hourglass N'28 Primer and that's it, but if I decide to throw on a little extra coverage Jouer is the perfect option. A light-weight glow filled  tinted moisturizer that doesn't make you look overly dewy is perfect for this time of year.

~ MAC Cream Color Base in Fawntastic ~ A beautiful dark champagne color that emphasis' my cheek bones while also looking natural and radiant.

~ YSL Creme De Blush in Rouge Passion ~ A beautiful cream to powder blush that glides on to the skin effortlessly without ever emphasising dry patches. It gives an overall radiant and healthy look.

Happy New Year Everyone!
