The Budget Buy: Rimmel ScandalEyes Eye Shadow Paints

Finally the Rimmel Eye Shadow Paints have landed in the US! I picked mine up when I was perusing the aisles at Ulta and I definitely had to stifle a scream when I saw the display. Being a lover of the brand this has got to be one of my favorite releases from them ever. The color selection is pretty versatile, I wish there was a bronze color and maybe a black but I did pick up every color except the white and the purple. Here are swatches and few thoughts.

(Pink, Chestnut Taupe, Rich Russett, Golden Bronze, Pomegranate, Slate Grey)

Let's just say we are starting 2014 off right with these new releases. They are pretty freaking good. The pigmentation is insane and they last forever on your lid, as in scary forever. If your someone who loves a good color base to put under your shadows or to where on their own these are perfect. They are not the easiest to blend out, if you do want to blend I suggest working fast because once they set they are not moving. The shadows are a liquid as the name would suggest. They literally feel like paint which allows for a easier and smoother application than say a cream. I am really impressed with these and for a drugstore price point you really cant beat it. I would like to quickly point out the pink shade is actually a lot pinkier in person than in my pictures. It has a beautiful iridescence to it that immediately brightens the inner corner of your eye, definitely check it out in person. Rimmel you did good.

How do you feel about a liquid eyeshadow?
