The Review ~ Perricone MD Hypoallergenic Nourishing Moisturizer

Winter here in the DMV has already been insane and it is wreaking havoc on my face. Last week we had a Polar Vertex. Yes a Polar Vertex. The wind chill was 2. I. Cant. Deal! Needless to say I am over it and so is my skin. Dry, dehydrated patches are what I have been trying to get a handle on for the past few months and whilst browsing through that trap called Sephora, I picked this lovely little gem up.

The Perricone MD Hypoallergenic Nourishing Moisturizer , is made for sensitive skin types that have  dry or damaged skin, which is exactly my problem at the moment. It has a pretty thick consistency that sits on the skin for a few minutes but once it absorbs it instantly nourishes and plumps the skin. My face is soothed and no longer has a tight feeling. I have noticed that the main difference between this product and other moisturizers that I use is this allows my skin to stay moisturized longer through out the day. It's formulated without any sulfates, synthetic fragrances, etc which is a major plus for my ultra sensitive skin. It has a pretty hefty price tag at $75 but a little really goes a long way. I try to focus the moisturizer on my dry areas and whatever is left I smooth onto the rest of my face. It does have a slight scent that I cant really pinpoint but nothing that is too overbearing. This is definitely a great cold weather savior.

How is your skin dealing with the cold?
