The Monthly Favorites ~ March '14

We have survived another month of this endless winter. Although it is officially spring, the DMV is still waiting on Mother Nature to get her life together. March was a crazy busy month for me as you can tell by my lack of posts, but there were a few stand out beauty products that I literally couldn't put down.

~ Peter Thomas Roth Un-Wrinkle Peel Pads ~ Thanks to the guru of skincare, Caroline Hirons, I picked these up interested in what they might be able to do for my dull/ tired skin. This is beautiful. A gentle but effective chemical exfoliator that sloths away dead skin revealing an amazing glow in the morning. It has slightly even altered the texture of my skin, leaving a much smoother and even surface. I was pleasantly surprised by this product and looking forward to trying out the Max Complexion Corrector Pads as well, hopefully they will help deal with a few discoloration issues I am having.

~Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Even Finish Foundation in Warm Walnut w/ Sephora Mineral Brush ~ This combo gives a flawless application. The brush is quick and easy to use, it  blends out your foundation without buffing away any coverage, and it feels extremely soft. We all know how much I love this Bobbi Brown foundation so I wont bore you with the details but if you want my full on thoughts on this beauty check out this post.

~NARS NARSsist Eye Palette ~ I mentioned this product briefly in my current favorites post here. I know there have been a ton of mixed reviews, but I absolutely have fallen in love with it. To me, the eyeshadows blend beautifully and you are able to create a plethora of natural but unique looks. The shadows are soft and easy to work with, which I love, and I had a really hard time trying to put this down.

~ Dior 5-Colour Eye Palette in Grege ~ When I wasn't drooling over my NARS palette I was using this beauty. I have started reaching for cool toned shadows a bit more recently and this palette just gets "cool tone neutral" right. The shadows are powdery but so smooth and easy to work with once applied to the lid. You can really create a sophisticated silver eye look that is wearable and doesn't scream Tin Man.

Ok guys that's it for this months favorites, would love to know what you have been loving in the comments below and I will talk to you soon!
