Travel Makeup ~ New York Edition

I recently took a quick weekend trip to New York for my best friends birthday and here are the beauty bits that came along.

Let me start off by saying, this makeup lasted all day with a quick touch up before we went out that night and then it continued to last all night. Amazed.

I knew this primer was good, but I didn't know it was THAT good. Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer allowed my makeup to not only last but continue to look vibrant and freshly applied all day. Next I went in with my trusty Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer in Walnut, easy simple and looks like foundation. For under-eye concealing I kept it simple with my NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Caramel and set it  with Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder. I set the rest of my makeup with MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Deep. Bronzed up the skin with a bit of my favorite bronzer Guerlain Terracota Bronzing Powder in 7 and of course I had to add NARS Liberte Blush , why is this so amazing? To highlight I brought out my  DIOR Amber Diamond which I can't believe they discontinued, like why Dior?

For brows I stuck to what I have been reaching for all month, Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder, Brow Pen, and Brow Gel. For eyes I decided to go with my Marc Jacobs Lolita Pallete, I have been trying to get more use out of this lately and I must say its beginning to slowly win me over. It's a great day to night palette. For mascara I went for Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara and Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara.

Do you tend to pack your favorites when you travel?
