Burberry

2/9/15

Burberry's makeup line has been around the beauty world for a while now, but this beauty lover is just getting around to trying it out.

Burberry Sheer Luminous Fluid Foundation in No.12 ~ I'm a big fan of base products, so when trying a new brand, thats usually what I test out first. This foundation seemed like the perfect fit for me, sheer and luminous? yes, please. I knew that this foundation should work, but I was pleasantly surprised when it did. Its beautiful. Lets break it down. First off, the packaging! I love it and the pump disperses just the right amount of product I need. The color range is a little disappointing as with most beauty brands these days, luckily I found a really good match, and because this foundation can be a little sheer, if the shade is slightly off, it blends in pretty seamlessly. While we are talking about coverage, I would say it's light but definitely can be built up to medium. The consistency is odd, it's a fluid but it has a mousse like texture, either way it works me! Ok sensitive skin girls (unite!), you may want to patch test this first, there's fragrance which is a red flag for me and because of that I try to use this once or twice a week (I don't use foundation everyday anyway)and definitely not when my skin is having a melt down. Overall I think this foundation is worth a try.

Burberry Sheer Luminous Concealer in 05 Amber ~ A YSL Touch Eclat alternative with a slightly better shade range, this concealer has been a constant in my make up routine. It's very lightweight so if you are looking for coverage, I'd say pass on this one. I love this on an everyday bases and if I need a bit more coverage I pair it with my Bobbi Brown Corrector. The color I have is great for brightening and highlighting around the face as well.

So far I am really impressed with what Burberry has to offer in the beauty department. Next up, their BB Cream and eyeshadow palette. Have you tried anything from Burberry yet? If so please leave me some suggestions in the comments below!
