The Current Skincare Routine: Serums

Third installment of my skincare routine post...Today we are talking about my serums, and  a few other extras.
To be honest, I'm pretty dedicated to only one serum, and it really is HG status, so I included a few other skincare treats that I like to use after my toner stage in my routine.

Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Liquid ~ A savior for my skin. I truly believe this product (along with the moisturizer I will mention on my next post) has been the reason my skin has been doing great. The ingredients in this product are phenomenal for sensitive/reactive skin like mine. Ceramide provides time release moisture and Licorice Root Extract soothes and helps with redness, while Panthenol alleviates signs of sensitivity and softens skin. This serum is a joy to apply, it immediately sinks in upon application instantly plumping and giving you a large dose of hydration. I use this morning and night, after my toner and right before I apply my moisturizer.

Perricone MD Hypoallergenic Firming Eye Cream ~ I was having constant issues with eye cream before this wonderful product. Most eye creams where too heavy and would cause break outs underneath they eyes (not cute) and the lighter options weren't hydrating enough causing dry patches, it was a constant juggle trying to find the perfect balance. This particular eye cream, does a wonderful job of hydrating my under eye area while not causing any breakouts. It immediately melts into the skin and makes applying concealer easier. This is already my second tub of the stuff and I'm pretty sure I can't be without it. Firming? Meh, I haven't noticed anything drastic. I use it morning and night.

Josie Maran Argan Oil ~ I have a love hate relationship with this product. This oil does an amazing job of moisturizing dry skin and leaving you with a radiant glow. Although, it says it is safe enough for sensitive skin I have to be careful. I dedicate this product to my Sunday night routine only, and only apply a  few drops to my skin. More than once a week, and my skin starts to go a bit haywire. If you have any great face oil recommendations for sensitive skin, please let me know!

Do you have any favorite serums or treatments?

  1. Hi I used to watch your videos on youtube and now I found your blog which I love. I have similar skin to yours, its super dehydrated and sensitive and can go from dry to combo on a daily basis. I really like the Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Oil as it is evening primrose based and good for our skin, it is really light weight and not as heavy as the argan oil.

    1. Thank you for the recommendation! Will look into it this weekend.
