The Monthly Favorites ~ January'15

We have a little bit of everything tossed into my January favorites. From cool toned eye shadows to a nail polish I wore almost everyday, I really enjoyed these beauty bits last month.

Dr. Jart Ceramidin Liquid and Cream ~ Holy grail status in my book, I never want to be without this little duo. It leaves my skin perfectly hydrated and nourished without clogging my pores and more importantly aggravating my skin. Sensitive skin girls you are going to love this. I did a review earlier in the month here, if you want to have a better idea of why these two items are never leaving my skin care cabinet.

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette ~ What a rediscovery! I never really bonded with the Naked 2 palette, until now. A few days into February and it is still my go to. You can create so many amazing looks and I am constantly discovering new shade favorites and combinations. Being a more warm toned shadow lover this was definitely a step out of my comfort zone, but I am so glad I did.

MAC Saddle ~ Speaking of warm toned shadows...I may have cheated just a little bit with the Naked 2 palette, I almost paired every look that I have done, with Saddle in the crease. The warm brown color just adds something to the looks that I really enjoy. The matte formula is one of the best I have tried, pigmented and easy to blend.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light ~ GAWWWW! I love this for setting my under eye area and t-zone. Every time I use it I hear Angels singing in the background and lights from heaven shine down on my face. It's everything, I am so glad I started using this product in a way that works for me. I talk more about that here

Hourglass Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick in Icon ~ My perfect red. Icon is the best name for this classic Hollywood blue based red. The opacity is fantastic and as long as you layer in thin coats, this matte formula wont pull or drag on the lips. I loved it so much I dedicated a whole review on this product here

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Rose Gold ~ Because who doesn't love a natural glow? In January I was skipping out on my powder highlighters, the sheen for some reason was looking harsh and unnatural on my skin. This little liquid number worked into my routine and I never looked back. Also, did a review on this here.

Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy in Checkmate ~ This polish put me on a natural nails kick and it doesn't look like it will be over anytime soon. A nude/grey/cream color, this polish looks beautiful on the nails. It gives that clean minimal look that I am loving right now, and bonus, its the only polish that lasts longer than two days on me. Needless to say, it pretty much stayed on my fingertips in January.

What were you loving last month? Tell me in the comments below!
