NARS Europa Dual Intensity Eye Shadow

3/25/15

A few weeks a go I stopped in Sephora to take a look at the NARS Dual Intensity Palette, its gorgeous (more on that later) but there was one particular shade that really had me lovestruck. Europa
This is a perfect iridescent shadow. In the pan it definitely pulls pink but swatched or applied to the lids its more of a sheer pinky peach that looks different depending on the light. It's perfect for an everyday lid color by itself or with a nice warm brown blended in the crease. It literally illuminates the eye giving your lid a "glow". I wasn't able to get a great shot of a swatch but The Beauty Look Book has a great swatch of it here. As far as the formula, I enjoy it, it's smooth and pigmented without kicking up too much product and you have the option to apply it wet which just intensifies the color. This was my first taste of the dual intensity shadows and I may or may not have went back for the palette.

Have you tried the NARS Dual intensity shadows yet? If so what shades are you enjoying?

  2. That dual intensity eye shadow seems to be very interesting! I love the color. If it makes the lid glow, it is definitely worth the try. I just hope that it's good enough to last all day! :)

    1. It's long lasting on my lids, but I cheat by using the NARS eye primer first, hope this helps!
