The Daily Makeup Routine

6/10/15

I try to make an effort to alternate through my makeup stash often. There's always something new to try and a rediscovered product stuck in the back of a drawer waiting for me to fall in love again. But lately I just haven't been able to switch up this makeup combo quite yet, especially if I am in a rush and need a quick put together look. I think what really pulls this look together quickly, is that its very monochrome. The shadow is similar in shade to the blush and the lipgloss nicely compliments both without clashing. I promise I'll switch it up soon.

Dior Diorskin Nude BB Creme in 004 ~ Yep, still talking about this base. I believe I first mentioned it in my March favorites and I'm still in love with the formula. It's a light consistency that gives a natural finish to the skin, sitting right between semi-matte and dewy. I like to quickly apply this with my fingertips , starting in the center of the face then blending it out. It smoothes over any imperfections and gives a good amount of coverage, that lasts well into the night.

Burberry Sheer Luminous Concealer in 05 Amber ~ A light sheer concealer that does a great job of highlighting underneath the eyes and around the face. The consistency is on the watery side, which makes this very easy to blend and melt into the skin. Once set with powder it lasts all day.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette ~ I am so glad I purchased this! A one stop shop for setting powder and highlighter. I use Dim light to highlight under my eyes and around the face and alter between Radiant and Incandescent light as highlighters. If I want something more subtle I gravitate toward Radiant Light.

Clinique All About Shadow in Black Honey ~ Dust this all over the lid on the lower lash line and I have the quickest brown/cranberry smokey eye. Follow up with a several coats of Dior Iconic Overcurl Mascara, and eye look done. ( The Clinique Eyeshadow  is currently on sale, click link)

NARS Dolce Vita ~ I dedicate a whole post to just this beauty of a blush color. It still amazes me how beautiful this looks on the skin. It helps to brighten and warm up the complexion and I can't get enough.

Laura Mercier Lip Glace in Azalea ~ I'm sure you are tired of me talking about this already but it really is the perfect lip color.

What are your go to everyday products?
