The Sunday Post ~ Shopping the Stash

Sundays are made for organizing, regrouping, and more importantly relaxing. Today I wanted to sit down and write a chatty post about shopping your stash and what I have recently rediscovered.
I'm really trying to be more conscious about the size of my makeup stash and the amount of products I actually use on a daily basis. If I'm going to purchase something, I want to use it, not just let it collect dust. Recently, when I have been getting the urge to do a little shopping or browse around online, I do a little rearranging of the makeup collection, and I always find a gem that I have long since forgot about or never used.

Japonesque 344 Brush ~ I haven't been able to find much use for this brush, its quite stiff and a little too small for me to use as a full on foundation brush. Recently I decided to use it to blend out under eye concealer, bingo. It does a great job of patting the concealer into the skin seamlessly.

Maybelline Color Tattoo in Caramel Cool ~ The perfect everyday shade that you can quickly slap on and blend out with your fingertips. The color is beautiful and caramel couldn't be a better description. It has a lovely bronze orange color that really compliments my complexion.

Laura Mercier Lip Glace in Azalea ~ Have I talked about this enough this month? A lovely bright pink that has a hint of lilac in it. This gloss makes your lips look juicy and lovely with out looking immature.

YSL Anti-Cernes Multi Action Concealer in 4 ~ Unfortunately YSL stopped making my shade, which really is a shame because this is a great concealer. The color is perfect for under the eyes and highlighting around the face, but the formula is the real star here. The consistency is creamy enough to glide on and blend out easily but still thick enough to provide medium coverage. It never crepes or looks cakey under the eyes or around my dry spots, and it give a subtle glow that looks amazing in person and in photos.
