Sunday Riley Skincare

I first heard of Sunday Riley Skincare through Caroline Hirons, particularly this video. At the time it wasn't the easiest brand to get a hold of, but recently Sephora started stocking this line in store and excitement was an understatement. I'm almost positive I screeched and heard bells when I saw the fully stocked shelves of supposedly skincare goodness. I quickly grabbed a few of the cult favorites and went home expecting my face to look like pure gold the next day. I want to also quickly point out that this was during a time where my skin and I were literally at war.  I had issues upon issues and was willing to try any and everything.
Let's start with the Ceramic Slip Clay Cleanser, a gel-based cleanser with Vitamin C and essential oils that promises to purify the skin, tighten pores, as well as tone and balance. I'm not a fan of gel/ foaming cleansers, they tend to be too stripping on my sensitive/dry skin but this cleanser is beautiful. I usually apply it with slightly damp finger tips and a dry face and  the French Green Clay literally melts into my skin. It does a great job of leaving my face feeling clean without feeling dry and tight. I was having issues with larger pores around my inner cheeks and area around my nose and they are significantly smaller. Sandalwood is one of the many fantastic ingredients in this product and it acts as an anti-microbial agent helping with allergic conditions, skin irritation and inflammation while also promoting radiance. I've been using this pretty religiously every night, its perfect for a second cleanse.
I had been on the hunt for a new exfoliating serum for some time and the Sunday Riley Good Genes seemed to fit the bill. A brightening, multitasking radiance treatment, this cult favorite has a lot of claims. I mainly just needed a serum to overall approve the texture of my skin and help with a few hyper pigmentation spots, and this product delivers, along with a nice dose of hydration. Now that my pigmentation issues are no more....time, prayer, and lots of exfoliating, I mainly use this when my skin is looking dull and clogged. If you can get past the fact that it smells like Lysol....this is one fantastic product that I will never be without.
When this hit the market skin care enthusiasts went crazy! Sunday Riley's Luna Night Oil  took the skin world by storm these last few months and for good reason. I have mixed feelings about oils, some work on me sometimes but only sparingly and others are just a fail, but after reading the ingredients list this looked like the HG of oils...and dare I say it is. A retinoid oil that reduces pore size, helps improve the appearance of damaged skin, and helps fight wrinkles. Lets just have a moment here. This oil is probably one of my favorite skin care products to my Peter Thomas Roth Unwrinkle Peel Pads, we are talking immediate results, especially when I first started using it. This along with a few other products I have contributed to why my skin has been completely clear and blemish free with no hyper pigmentation issues what so ever. This beautiful blue oil is packed full of amazing ingredients such as Blue Tansy to help heal damaged skin and Avocado Oil which is rich in Vitamins A, B, C, D and E. I literally closed my eyes and swiped my card when buying this product because it is not cheap...but with only needing a few drops and not using it every night it will last me a long time. Thinking of picking up a day time oil from the brand, maybe Flora? Let me know if you are loving any day time oils lately.
