Currently Loving

It's officially Fall! When I was younger I never loved the Fall/Winter season, but this year, I'm here for it. I'm excited for the hot drinks, huge scarves, and chunky knit sweaters. With the transition into the new season I haven't quite made the same transition with my makeup. I'm still on this "barely" wearing any makeup kick, with that being said here are a few of my beauty favorites as of recently.

~ Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Dark Brown ~ I'm sure I have talked about this plenty of times before, but if you are new to this corner of the Internet...I love this. The small nib is perfect for imitating real brow hairs and the spoolie on the other end just makes it convenient. When I ran out of the color ebony I decided to grab dark brown for a comparison. I prefer dark brown for an everyday brow but still love ebony for nights out and if I know pictures will be taken.

~ Dior Nude Air Serum Foundation in 060~ I did a review on this a few months ago, here, but this is still my go to foundation. It will be interesting to see if this will still function as well once the temperature starts to drop and my skin begins to resemble a prune, but for now its beautiful.

~ Caudalie Masque Instant Detox ~ I'm dedicating a post to Caudalie in the next couple of weeks because this brand is slowly taking over my skincare cabinet. This masque is one of my favorite clay masks to date. It does a great job of soothing while also drawing out impurities. Did I mention it smells like a Himalayan Spa? Not that I've been to one but if I do go I can only imagine it would smell similar. I recently picked up the Glycolic Peel in a set and I can't even begin to tell you the level of radiance my face is on just after one use.

~ Gel Manicure ~ A few weeks ago I was doing makeup for a wedding and wanted my nails to last through all the wear and tear of doing the bridal parties makeup and well into the ceremony and reception, that seems like a simple feat but ladies and gentleman it is not. If I paint my nails, I promise you, the next day they are chipped or worn looking. I decided to try a gel lasted two weeks, and quite frankly it probably would have lasted forever if your nails didn't grow! Needless to say I was amazed, and I have turned from the "do-it" yourself girl, "no one should spend money at the nail salon" girl to knowing my nail tech's name along with her kids and cat. I'm just so amazed and how long my nails have gotten because the "gel" or shellac seems to reinforce them causing them not to break or peel and the actual color stays on forever. I'm really impressed and yes you should believe the hype...but no you may not want to try it because I currently have an addiction.

That's what I've been loving as of late, tell me what you have been grabbing lately in the comments below. Check back on Wednesday for a new post!
