Long Lost Beauty Bits

Every so often, when I get a little itch to peruse the "just arrived" section of Sephora, I do a meander through my stash. What is collecting dust? What needs to be used up before it becomes expired? And what do I find? The jackpot, every time. Here are a few of my rediscovered products, hopefully it will push you to use some of those long lost loves.

~ NARS Matte Multiple in Laos ~ I have a few of these matte multiples, and I haven't used them nearly as often as I would have liked. This one in particular is beautiful, it looks great blended in by itself or paired with a powder blush. The longevity is what you would expect of a matte product, about 8 or more hours and it is so easy to blend. It compliments NARS' Dolce Vita lipstick so well.

~ Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed ~ How did I forget about this! It was one of those blushes when first purchased I didn't think it would show up or suit my skin tone, but it really is a beautiful "nude" blush. It gives a little hint of something to the cheeks without being prominent. I find this is really great paired with a warm or bold colored lip.

~ MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Stereo Rose ~ This is limited edition, but if it gets released again...you need to grab it. If you currently have it, learn from my mistakes and use this bad boy! Stereo Rose is a beautiful pink/ rose gold powder that can be used as a highlighter or blush. I use it as a "compliment" to a blush, its so pigmented and clearly rosey in tone that it gives a beautiful effect on the high points of the cheekbones, and well, everywhere.

~Stila In the Light Palette ~ Sometimes you rediscoveryitems that you wish you never purchased...this being one of them. This is pretty much still brand new and I just don't see myself using this anytime soon. The shadows are a little stiff and chalky and I'm not wowed by any of the shades except ,"night sky", this is definitely getting passed down to a friend who may get some better use out of it.

Have you rediscovered any products hidden in your stash recently?
