A Rediscovery: The NARS Light Reflecting Pressed Setting Powder

I purchased this powder when it first came out a year or so ago, I believe somewhere in my archives you may find a review. I loved it. Then I put it in the back of my drawer of powders never to be thought of again...of course. I recently whipped it back out and have been using it non-stop. Lets have a quick little chat about this awesome product.
I usually only powder the areas that I conceal, so the under-eyes and t-zone. These areas are also where I highlight with my concealer, so I usually opt for a powder that is going to offer a brightening effect. My absolute favorite powder for that, especially for special occasions, nights out, or when I just want to look extra glam is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light. If I am going for an everyday or lighter look I love reaching for the NARS Light Reflecting Setting Powder. It gives a beautiful brightness to the skin without looking over done and it keeps the concealer from creasing. White powders usually scare me but this one is completely translucent and sheer. You don't have to worry about the powder showing up on the skin, its completely undetectable and very forgiving unlike the Hourglass, which if you are heavy handed...you can completely tell you are wearing powder. Excuse me as I go meander through my stash and see what other gems I have stashed away.
